Telling someone the truth is the greatest form of respect. Unfortunately, they don't see it that way.

Very true and beautifully said! Thanks Coleen & Jonathan, I'll be using this quote in a future article, if you don't mind.

Great article. I have not yet written about animal rights, but I plan to. I need more information/education to provide clear justification and arguments. I’m reading Peter Singer. This article helps and I’ve saved it, and will probably print it to share with others. Thank you for your advocacy.

Thanks, Jerry! I'm glad my words resonate with you. After all, it's not speculation - I'm just stating a fact. An incredibly important one; and a massively overlooked one. More hard-hitting articles like this one will follow. I'm delighted to see that I'm reaching more and more people with this crucial message - lovely people like you. Talk soon!

This exchange inspired me to begin a new section. I just made my first post to that section, but did not add my subscribers yet. It is called, "JerBear The Vegan." I am going to add a few more posts to support the description before announcing it to my subscribers. But I thought you might want to have a look. https://withoutreason.substack.com/s/plant-based-portions

I'm going to post a note right now as well. Mostly to see if my notes have an audience. LOL.

I feel this could be a way for me to encourage the vegan lifestyle. I want it to be a guide for the everyday person to navigate life as a vegan.

An extremely important article the entire world should read and discuss. One major challenge to address for those who call for the abolition of so-called animal “agriculture” (I.e., mass murder) is the sheer number of people who have become dependent financially on income from this abhorrent, pervasive practice. Ideally, human beings would change the current paradigm under which we live and find a substitute for work, for that would negate this challenge and facilitate material change in our collective dietary practices.

Yeah I love focusing on bringing justice to animals when non-combatant civilian Palestinians are being starved and bombed every day in Gaza. Animals are far more important.

Some of the points don’t apply to ethically sourced meat.

Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts. There might be a misunderstanding here. I offer all my content for free. I don't do ads. I don't do paywalls. Excactly because I want to include everyone.

The paid tiers are entirely optional - for people who have the resources and want to support my work.

The only difficulties I have ever had being vegan were eating at restaurants and travelling. Those are both easily mitigated with a little planning.

Getting there took time. It’s like quitting smoking, you don’t have to do it all at once. Start with reducing.
